As well as general neurosurgery special areas of interest include hydrocephalus (especially endoscopic management), neurological sporting injuries, spinal degenerative disease of all ages, dysraphism (spina bifida) in all ages and paediatric neurosurgery.
I am lead neurosurgical clinician at Alder Hey, head of audit at Walton Centre, lead neurosurgeon for infection control at Walton Centre.
I have over 120 publications including peer reviewed articles and book chapters.
I have admitting privileges at Walton Centre, Alder Hey, Abbey Sefton Hospital and Renacres Hospital. I undertake medicolegal work including medical negligence.
I am married with 3 children, enjoy rugby, horse riding, running, music and military history. |
