  FAQ

Q/ How do I make an appointment?
A/ To arrange an appointment is very simple, just telephone the office on 0151 709 2668 and you will be given an appointment at your earliest convenience.

Q/ Do I need to have private insurance to attend the clinic?
A/. No all consultations and treatments can be for either self- funding or insured patients.

Q/ Do I need a referral letter from my GP?
A/ A letter from your GP is not essential but would give us all the back ground information from when you had your first symptoms. Also if you are privately insured this is a requirement by your insurance company and will enable the account to be settled.

Q/ Will I be seen by the right consultant?
A/ When the initial contact is made a member of staff will ask you certain questions in connection with your injury this will enable us to refer you to the correct specialist.

Q/ What will happen when I attend the clinic?
A/ You will be greeted by one of our members of staff they will ask for your referral letter if you have one, and make you feel comfortable and at ease whilst waiting to see the appropriate specialist. Our office is open to everyone and if you have any questions or queries they are more than willing to help.

Q/ If I need a MRI scan?
A/ If a scan is required an appointment can be arranged at you earliest convenience this appointment will be given to you before you leave the clinic.

Q/ What will happen if a procedure is needed?
A/ Whilst you are with the consultant this will be discussed with him. All arrangements time and place will be made to your convenience.

A/ If physiotherapy is required both pre-operative and post operative this will be arranged by the consultants secretary before you leave.

Q/ What if I require a further appointment.
A/ If a follow up appointment is needed for either any results or post operative procedure this also can be arranged before you leave the clinic.

Q/ Do I need to pay for my consultation on the day?
