I am a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at University Hospital Aintree Foundation NHS Trust.
I qualified in 1994 from the University of Liverpool and started my surgical training the following year. I have trained in Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool.
My specialist interests include Surgery of the Knee, Foot and Ankle. I regularly perform ligament reconstruction including criciate ligaments and ankle ligaments. I perform knee replacements including single compartment replacement.
My sports injury interest encompasses arthroscopic surgery of the knee and ankle. I also perform foot and ankle surgery from sports injuries to degenerative arthritis procedures and more commonly bunion surgery.
